It is made of hot rolled mild steel(low-carbon steel), as low-carbon steel is easy to machine, form, and weld. The 90 degree angle shape adds strength and fixed to any projects. And this kind steel angle is known as Hot rolled steel angle.

In some applications, the steel angle is zinc galvanized for good corrosion resistance. We call this kind steel angle as Galvanized Steel Angle.

Steel Beams

What is steel beam

Steel beams are made of structural steel and are used in construction and civil engineering. According to the shapes of the steel beam, they are mainly named as the "H" beam and the "I" beam. Steel beams are the most common building blocks for various structural steel frameworks.

Here we need to remember two very important conceptions: the Flange and the web. To the beams, the horizontal parts are called flanges, and the vertical part is called the web. The flanges are there to resist any kind of bending, while the web absorbs the shear force applied to it.

Steel Channel

What is steel channel

Steel channels are known as the C-shaped beam, U-shaped beam or parallel flange channel. The steel channel is much like a half beam with a full thickness web, the single webs flanked by upper and two flanges by lower. The steel channels have the same taper as standard beams, but have low resistance to torsion and can twist if excessive loads are applied to it.
