How to make the 304 stainless steel welded pipe

The stainless steel welded tube is produced through roll forming strips or sheets of stainless steel into a tube shape and then welding the seam lengthways.

Welded tubing can be formed by hot forming and cold forming processes. The cold-forming tubing is more smooth on finishes and more tight on tolerances. Both methods can make a strong and long-lasting steel tube that keeps from corrosion. The welded tube can be drawn similar to seamless tubing to produce a finer weld seam with better surface finishes and tighter tolerances, but the general compressive strength is lower than stainless steel seamless steel pipe.
