Help your customers first, and you will help build a strong and growing business--From Anya
"The biggest lesson I’ve learned is how hard it is to focus on helping your potential customers ahead of blatant self-promotion. The best businesses put customers at the center and earn the opportunity to explain how you can help them.
B2B sales and marketing professionals should spend time interfacing directly with potential customers, to build some level of trust. Look at the influencers in your space, and learn how they built their audience and the influence they have. And most importantly, simply seek to answer your customers’ top questions, challenges, and concerns. When you have your eyes and ears pointed out to your community, not in toward your product team or your “sales-driven” culture, you will win the brands.
Help your customers first, and you will help build a strong and growing business."
Less talk and more listening---From Tanya
She learns in sales is to encourage customers to talk more. When talking with people you should try to hear their problem and have a solution for them, even if it means directing them away from your company if you can’t solve their issue. They will appreciate the help and understand that you’re there to help them.
Overcome the fear of talking to new people--From Cathy
how to talk to people is a basic skill we should aquire and practicse. The more you do it, the easier it becomes when you meeting new people. Becoming comfortable with conversation will open doors for you. A sales job forces you to step outside of your comfort zone and speak to new people.
Set targets for your sales, try every ways to help them to achieve them!
